5 reasons why you should still learn jQuery

In the recent time, I will take a little shift from the world of data science to see what is happening in the web development world. I applied for a Web Development bootcamp by Devcamp implemented by wootlab where we were introduced to series of things then I came about jQuery and arguments for and against it.

In this article I will show you 5 reasons why I think you should still learn jQuery.

1. Complement of CSS: I once told my master that I am poor in css which he replied: “you are not poor but inexperience”. This is true for many beginners. We find it difficult to implement some style using pure css. In this regard, jQuery comes in hand. It has very easy and straight forward of styling. When we talk of effect and animation, jQuery also comes to play.

2. Bootsrap: Bootsrap in the recent times has become the popular CSS framework for many people. However, bootsrap also relies greatly on so many concept of jQuery. Hence learning jQuery won’t be difficult while trying to understand how it works in bootsrap.

3. Poor background in Vanilla Javascript: jQuery comes in handy when we talked about advance javascript. It allows us to write a shorter code and still achieve the same result. If you are not too sound in JS or most team members are
